Karnataka Maritime Board intends to undertake various coastal resilience enhancement projects for holistic coastal development across Maritime, Tourism and Fisheries sectors. The Project Preparatory Reports are being prepared for the same for obtaining the assistance from Asian Development Bank (Loan-General) under the SCPMIP Tranche – 3 as per extant rules and guidelines of Government of India and Government of Karnataka.
In this regard, representatives from Asian Development Bank visited Karnataka Maritime Board office on 01.12.2023 to discuss the coastal resilience enhancement projects of Karnataka. The prospect of blue sea projects in Bengre, Mangalore and Karwar was also deliberated upon.
Karnataka Maritime Board looks forward to the prospect of fruitful collaboration with ADB and yield positive outcomes.
